Sole surviving daughter, 7, of mom who shot dead her three other kids and herself also dies of her injuries

On February 10, Tranyelle Harshman, 32, shot her children in the head at their home in Big Horn County, Wyoming, before calling 911, according to the New York Post.

During the brief call, she informed the dispatcher of the children’s location before abruptly hanging up, the local sheriff’s office reported.

When officers arrived, they discovered the three girls with fatal gunshot wounds, along with their mother, who had also shot herself.

Brailey, nine, and her two-year-old twin stepsisters, Brooke and Jordan, tragically were dead when first responders arrived, while Harshman was still alive but later succumbed to her injuries.

Olivia Blackmer, seven, was also found alive in the home and was airlifted to Utah Children’s Hospital where she underwent emergency brain surgery, remaining “heavily sedated” until her tragic death, five days later.

News of Olivia’s passing on Saturday afternoon was shared by her stepmother, who posted an update on a GoFundMe page that had been set up for Olivia’s medical expenses.

The update confirmed: “Olivia is with her sisters now. She gained her angel wings yesterday at 3:44pm. She fought so so hard up til the last minute!

“Her body and her brain had been through too much, medication helped but we reached a point where medical options were exhausted and her body only continued to get worse. She kept fighting through it all though until her heart stopped.

“We are grateful she hung on as long as she did so we could get some valuable time with our sweet baby girl the last five days. We want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support for our family.”

Olivia and Brailey’s father, Quinn Blackmer, also shared the news of her death on Facebook on Sunday, writing: “I know this isn’t the update people were hoping for and we are absolutely gutted to make it, but we needed time to process what had happened before we let the world know of the tragic passing of Olivia yesterday (feb 15) afternoon at 3:44 pm.

“The amount of devastation we feel and are going through is so much.”

He added: “From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank every single person that has donated and prayed and fasted for us and our family and our beautiful Olivia. Your kindness and generosity has been so much and we just ask that you continue to pray and keep us all in your thoughts.

“The peace I find is knowing that my babies don’t have to be apart from each other and they can also be with their other sisters.”

Cliff Harshman, the father of Brooke and Jordan, also spoke out after their death, telling KTVQ on Thursday that the pain of their loss is “something beyond what I can comprehend.”

He added: “I’m so angry. I don’t even know how to explain this to you. I’m so angry with her for the decision that was made.”
