A shocking and distressing video captured the moment a family safari trip turned fatal due to a tiger attack. The footage, which has drawn widespread attention, reveals how an outing at the park ended in heartbreak and loss.The video shows a woman, identified as Zhao, stepping out of her car while driving through the Siberian tiger enclosure with her family. What seemed like an ordinary moment quickly turned into a nightmare when a tiger appeared and dragged Zhao off-screen in a sudden and terrifying attack.

Badaling Wildlife World allows visitors to drive their own cars through safari-style enclosures, with strict safety rules in place, including a prohibition on leaving vehicles in certain areas, such as the tiger enclosure. Visitors must also sign a waiver agreeing to follow these rules.

Zhao later claimed she misunderstood the waiver, believing it was only a registration form. She alleged that the park staff did not fully explain the document’s purpose. Feeling unwell during the tour, Zhao decided to step out of the car, unaware of the imminent danger.

The video shows her exiting the vehicle and walking toward the passenger side when a tiger suddenly appears and drags her away.

In a desperate attempt to save her, Zhao’s mother rushed out of the car. Tragically, she was attacked by another tiger and killed while trying to protect her daughter.

Following the attack, the Yanqing District government confirmed the incident

Stated that Zhao was receiving medical treatment for her injuries. Others criticized the park for potential failures in effectively communicating the risks.Zhao later filed a lawsuit against the wildlife park, claiming she had not been adequately warned about the dangers of leaving her vehicle and alleging that a park official nearby failed to intervene during the attack. Authorities conducted an investigation and concluded that the tragedy did not qualify as an “industry security accident,” absolving the park of liability. The report stated the incident occurred due to the violation of safety protocols by those involved.
