Jeff Bezos and Fiancée Lauren Sánchez Plan an Extravagant $600 Million Wedding with Stunning Details

Reports have disclosed alleged information about the wedding plans of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.
The billionaire and the Emmy Award-winning journalist began their relationship in 2019, with news of their engagement emerging in May 2023.Bezos announced his divorce from MacKenzie Scott, with whom he has four children, after 25 years of marriage. He shared the news on Twitter in January 2019.

The statement said: “We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again.

“Though the labels might be different, we remain a family, and we remain cherished friends.”

In the same year, Sánchez was reportedly ending her 13-year marriage to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, with whom she has two children, as well as a son from a previous relationship.

Soon after, it was confirmed that Sánchez and Bezos were a couple. Although they were seen together, they did not publicly acknowledge their relationship until 2021, when Sánchez expressed support for Bezos’ aerospace venture, Blue Origin, on Instagram.

That year, Bezos humorously addressed a viral video of Sánchez interacting with Leonardo DiCaprio.

In 2023, Sánchez shared with WSJ Magazine that she and Bezos enjoy being and working together. By May 2023, their engagement was announced, with sources suggesting their wedding is planned for December 28.

According to three sources, the Mail Online reported the alleged wedding date, while another source mentioned that the couple has reserved the Japanese sushi restaurant Matsuhisa in Aspen, Colorado two days before the event.

The ceremony is rumored to occur at the elite Dunbar Ranch retreat.

One source estimated the wedding cost to be around $600 million, which is well within Bezos’ means, given his $244 billion net worth, as noted by Bloomberg.

Aspen events planner Janie Lemons has speculated about the logistics of the couple’s wedding.

She conjectured that the couple ‘outsource[d] pretty much everything except transportation and lighting’ and posited that NDAs were likely in place for those involved.
