US-Based Nigerian Doctor Takes His Own Life After The Courts Awarded His Ex-Wife $15,000 A Month In Child Support

A tragic end to a heated custody battle. Dr. Ikenna Erinne, a US-based Nigerian cardiologist, was ordered to pay $15,000 a month in child support—but instead of complying, he held his ex and children hostage at gunpoint for three hours before taking his own life as police arrived.

 

His father-in-law revealed the shocking details, stating that Erinne was facing serious kidnapping charges and chose to end things rather than face prison. While some blame the family court system, others argue this was deeper than money
