A 22-year-old pizza delivery worker in Florida, Brianna Alvelo, is facing serious charges after stabbing a pregnant woman 14 times over a $2 tip she deemed insufficient.
The incident occurred at the Kissimmee Hotel in Florida, where Alvelo handed over an order totaling $33.10. The victim initially paid with $50 and requested change, but Alvelo told the customer it was against the restaurant’s policy to provide change. The customer then exchanged the bills, leaving Alvelo with a $2 tip. Alvelo allegedly returned with an unidentified male suspect, who forced their way into the room armed with a firearm.The male suspect confined the boyfriend to the bathroom and destroyed his phone, while Alvelo searched the room for valuables. Alvelo then attacked the victim with a pocket knife, causing 14 stab wounds and injuries, including a punctured lung. The victim is now in stable condition. Marco’s Pizza is expressing their condolences and is cooperating with authorities in investigating the incident. Alvelo is currently in jail with bail set at $55,000.
